4-7/9-2029 Torgnon and Aosta.

A surprise present from Jessica!
Torgnon..in Valle d'Aosta

Preparations and off we went.
With a very good driver along the curved roads..

We're almost there and see Torgnon higher than the hotel up in the mountains!
This is the very nice hotel , very hospitable, cosy and with very good food!!!

A very big "warm"room with every facilities!

On Saturday 5th going to Aosta with Roman ruins...Aosta from the emperor Augustus/Augusto...

Aosta!!! Here we are...

Restaurant "Pretoria"a Latin name.(the guards ="pretorians" of the emperor)..we had a wonderful glutenfree lunch ,  the best I've ever tasted!!
See how many historical remains there are in Aosta: wonderful! The Arc of Triump!

Nice shopping streets, too!

On our way to the hotel after a pleasant day..on the rotunde the top of the Matterhorn...in stone 😉

In the hotel Jour et Nuit...

On Sunday morning Jessica drove us up to the centre of Torgnon ...

Then we drove to Antey- Saint-Andre

with a view on the Cervino( Matterhorn)

Lunch on a Sunday: a lot of guests and a long serving time but authentic food from the region.
Relax....

A last view...a last dinner  and sweet dreams...
Breakfast- even for Jessica and me there was a good choice of glutenfree articles! The hostess was very prepared...she is confirmed by the organisation of glutenfree hotels.
The symbol of our room...with some "ripid" stairs to arrive upstairs!
Part of the hotel across the street..nice on sunny days!!
Till the next time!! Bye,Bye!
